Lucas is native to the Bay Area and is familiar with both the neighborhoods and communities as well as the vast geologic spectrum spanning from the San Andreas Fault and steep hillsides down to the soft bay margin. Lucas has worked on the design and construction of a wide array of earth/foundation projects including: soil nails, tiebacks, drilled piers, driven and auger-cast piles, and shoring and dewatering for basement excavations.

Lucas is focused on thoughtful leadership, and is proud to be leading the 2nd generation of the firm.

Lucas holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and an M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley
